According to the AP, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick claims to have donated $5000 to Obama's campaign. The problem is... he can't seem to find proof he ever did and there is no record he ever made such a donation. Trust me, if I gave $5000 to a candidate, I'd have a record. Besides, doesn't the elections commission keep records of this kind of donation? I sense that Patrick is lying for effect when he tells this story.
