Looks Like It is Over, Barring a Miracle

The dam has opened. First there was a trickle, now there appears to be a steady flow. The question is....when will the floodgates open and Superdelegates flow to Obama's side and shut the race down? That is the million dollar question. Will it be May 20, 2008 as Obama has intimated, will it be after June 3, 2008 or will it go to August? I cannot see a scenario where the latter happens. This past Wednesday I donated to Hillary's campaign. Last night I received a call asking for donations. I reluctantly donated again, not because I don't support her but because I cannot see a path to her getting the nomination. Obama's campaign has successfully framed the debate around the idea that pledged delegates is the "only" fair way to get the nomination that it is virtually impossible for Hillary to overcome the "math." What is so disingenuous about that argument is the fact that Obama does NOT have the magic number of delegates either and will have to rely on the same Superdelegates to give HIM the nomination, while he and his campaign claims if Hillary Clinton gets it that way will be unfair. THAT it why I am "bitter" and "angry" to the point that I have switched my registration from DEMOCRAT to INDEPENDENT. This party is a bunch of women hating d----s who would rather a man, any man of any color than a qualified and respected woman. A lot of them in the Party hates Hillary and Bill Clinton, that is patently clear to me. As evidence, look at all the people who once supported her who have switched to Obama, and at the most inopportune time? Take Joe Andrew for instance. How f---ed is that?

Today, Gene Robinson of the Washington Post wrote that he thought the Democratic Party was colorblind, responding to this bogus claim that Hillary was race baiting when she responded that an AP article asserted that Obama was losing support among white working class Americans and low-income Americans. Since when is pointing out the facts racist? Why is it racist when white people vote in larger percentages for Hillary (in the 70%) but when Blacks vote in the 91, 92 and 97% for Obama it is characterized as Black Pride? I'm not white, but, I would think that whites might be thinking, if Blacks are supporting "their own" so disproportionately, we need to support our own? Race voting is wrong no matter which race does it. I am shocked and appalled that Blacks have done this under the guise of Black Pride. These are the same people who thought Obama was not "black enough" in the beginning but then embraced him when he started to win in "white states."

When Jeremiah Wright's sermons were revealed, very prominent blacks came out and "defended" him, claiming his words were taken out of context, we didn't hear the entire sermon, it was looped and run continuously. However, when he came out at the National Press Club and repeated the same things, these same prominent blacks "suddenly" was repudiated Reverend Wright because they saw their chance of having their "Black President" slipping away. All of a sudden, they were all over the biased left media saying he did not "represent" the Black Church. Even Obama, who had denied hearing these things, then he heard "some" things, then he didn't hear "these" specific things was still defending Reverend Wright on Fox with Chris Wallace the day before the Nation Press Club fiasco. On the day of Wright's performance, Obama was NOT angry and concerned about his performance. However, once the left media made it clkear that his response was not "playing well" he "suddenly" on Tuesday gave his little performance and acted as if he was so outraged by Wright's words. Oh, really? He said nothing different than what he previously said. As a matter of fact, he expounded on his statements. No one was left with any doubt that he was NOT taken out of context. Obama showed himself to be the consummate politician, just has Wright had indicated. His sudden hurt and outrage was just that, political. Once again, America was bamboozled.

Since Tuesday, he has been going around acting as if he is the nominee, because Tim Russert, The left media and the print press have told him he is. The wimp ass Superdelegates keep trickling out with their endorsements, seeking media attention. Why the hell don't these fake ass people get this crap over and spare us this farce. Clearly, the Democratic Party wants to recreate Camelot and think Obama is the one to do it. Does anyone think the asshole is going to be some transformative figure, assuming he becomes President? I seriously doubt it.

Yesterday, that cocky, condescending ass made a remark that McCain was "losing his bearing." That comment, will come back and bite him in the ass come November. He does not seem to understand that majority of the voting block is "old people" and you don't want to offend them. I think the comment was bull and showed that he thinks because he's young, he can dominate McCain. I think he's underestimating McCain's popularity among voters. The Democrats think they have a lock on the General Election and the Presidency. I think thy are being cocky and overconfident and I don't think it will be decided on domestic issues. As evidence, look at what is going on in Lebanon today, Russia is flexing their military muscles, and Iran is close to arming their nuclear warheads. Do you really think when people consider those things they are going to choose Obama over John McCain, a decorated war hero and Vietnam prisoner of war? It should be interesting to see how the media covers both during the General election. Unlike Hillary Clinton, John McCain has a channel that will give him good press, Fox News.
