The Republican Path to Victory Can Win In November

The Democrats seems so confident and assured of a victory in November that I think they underestimate the effectiveness of the Republican Party's message, chiefly National security and Terrorism. Yes, the Economy is bad, gas and food prices are astronomical but if something major happens, like an attack on Iran, none of that will matter. Why do I believe this? I think America's security trumps Domestic issues, like it or not.

There has been quite a bit of sabre rattling recently about a plan to attack Iran. If that happens, it could swing the election in John McCain's favor. The Administration appears to be "making the case" for some type of action against Iran. This morning The New York Times reported in its Monday edition, citing U.S. interrogation reports the U.S. has supplied to the Iraq government, that Militants from the Lebanese group Hezbollah have been training Iraqi militia fighters at a camp near Tehran. According to the report, the account of Hezbollah's role was provided by four Shiite militia members who were captured in Iraq late last year and questioned separately.

"The U.S. has long charged the Iranians were training Iraqi militia fighters in Iran, which Iran has consistently denied, and there have been previous reports about Hezbollah operatives in Iraq." This could give the Administration the justification it needs to launch an attack on Iran, something they have been advocating for some time.
