More Evidence Obama Will Lose In November

With poll numbers among key groups similar to that of John Kerry Obama is destined to lose. Despite a crumbling economy, high gas prices, record foreclosures, a crumbling credit industry, the War in Iraq, a Health Care system that is a mess with millions of Americans uninsured, high food prices, Bush's popularity is at an all-time low (28%) and with Obama's mantra of 'bringing people together," it does not appear, at least to me, that the General election will be a cakewalk for Democrats, if he gets the nomination, which seems very likely, although I wish it weren't so.

Obama has similar polling numbers to John (the loser) Kerry in 2004 and we know how that ended. http://www.gallup.com/poll/107110/Obamas-Support-Similar-Kerrys-2004.aspx. How is it that when every metric favors Democrats, they are about to pick a candidate who shares the same attributes (in terms of support)to be the nominee. You wonder, didn't they learn anything the last time? With all the Bush bashing I hear going on from blacks, it is noteworthy to mention that 11% of them voted for Bush. Has they voted for Kerry, he would have been the President. They did not stay loyal the Democratic Party...I guess this time they have reason to be loyal.
